How much are your dresses?
We are proud to offer long dresses at all price points, starting from £55.
The Dress Studio recognises that everyone has different budgets for their dresses, and we strive to accommodate this
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, we offer payment plans! We ask for an initial deposit on the dress and then you can pay the rest of the balance at a later time. All we request is that a payment is made every 28 days. We keep the dress in the store until it is fully paid for.
Do you sell the same dress to the same school?
We do not sell the same dress to the same school, so the sooner you come in and choose your dress the better!
Do you do special orders?
The great news is that at The Dress Studio the dresses you see are the ones that you purchase.
This means that there is no waiting for your dress and if you have left dress shopping a bit last-minute, it is not a problem!
Do I need to make an appointment?
The great news is, you do not need an appointment to visit our store!
We have over 30 deluxe, fitting rooms and so, can comfortably accommodate all of our visitors.
Do you do the alternations?
We do not offer alterations at The Dress Studio!
We recommend Reeds at The Trafford Centre, located on the ground floor near John Lewis.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
Bringing a pair of high heels with you always helps when trying on the dresses, as this gives you a better idea of how the dress will look! It will also help to see if you need any alterations to the dress length.
If you don’t have any, don’t worry! We have a selection here that you can try on with the dresses!
Also if you don’t want to wear high heels for prom, no problem... not everyone does!
How many people can I bring with me?
You are welcome to bring friends & family with you but we do suggest to try and limit the amount of people.
Sometimes, too many opinions make it difficult to focus on yourself and how you feel in a dress! Plus, at peak times, it can get very busy in the shop and there will be limited space at the changing rooms.
We do advise to bring someone with you as it always helps to get a second opinion! If you are under 18 we do ask that you bring a parent/guardian with you when trying on the dresses.
How will I know what style is right for me?
It's so important to keep an open mind when it comes to prom dress shopping! The dresses look so different when they are tried on, so we always advise to try lots of different colours and styles to find your perfect dress!
Prom dress shopping can be overwhelming for a lot of people, but please remember that we are here to help! We can guide you in the right direction, towards that dream dress!
Should I take my makeup off?
We would really appreciate it if when you come to the store you are not wearing any makeup or fake tan. The dresses are very expensive, and we would hate for them to get stained with any marks!
I don't want anyone to know what prom dress I have. Will this be a problem?
This is not a problem at all. We keep a record of every prom dress that we sell and so, we will not sell the same dress to the same school.
We also will not tell anyone what prom dress you have chosen… we keep this top secret!
